Tax Season 2011

Completing your annual Income Tax Return is one of the things that you will be able to tick off your to-do-list effortlessly this year. This guide provides you with all the important information you need to easily and quickly file your return. It’s so effortless, simple and stress free, you could say that SARS is taking the {eish} out of TAXATION!

Question 1: Do I have to submit an Income Tax Return to SARS?

I earn under R120 000
I earn above R120 000

Note: R120 000 means total salary income per year before tax with no additional income or deductions that you want to claim for.

Did you know? More than 2.25 million taxpayers used SARS eFiling last year to file their Income Tax return, why not join them?

If you earn under R120 000 for a full year from one employer (total salary income before tax) and have no car allowance, additional income or deductions that you want to claim for, then you don’t even need to submit a return to SARS!
