How do I register as a conveyancer?
You need an eFiling profile, then click on ‘Services’ then on ‘Conveyancer Registration’ and simply register by completing the RC-01 form.

I am already registered as a conveyancer, how do I update my details?
All you need to do on eFiling is click on ‘Services’ then on ‘Conveyancer Registration’ and your details will be supplied on the RC-01 form for you to update.

I already have a SARS conveyancer number, where do I find it?
All you need to do on eFiling is click on ‘Services’ then on ‘Conveyancer Registration’ and your conveyancer number will be displayed on the RC-01 form.

What are the requirements for registration as a conveyancer?
• Must be a member of the Law Society of South Africa • Must not have a criminal record • Must be tax compliant • Must have a LLB degree (or equivalent)

Will supporting documents be required during the registration process?
No supporting documents will be required during the registration process.

What proof or confirmation will I receive after my registration?
You do not get a printed confirmation. Once your registration is successfully it will allow you to complete Transfer Duty declaration. No PDF letters or emails or SMS’s will be sent.
