I would like to commend Commissioner Edward Kieswetter for his leadership of SARS. He provided stability during a difficult period and drove meaningful modernisation, including improved digital platforms and processes. SARS’ strong performance and record revenue collection reflect effective leadership and strengthened tax administration. I wish him well in his future endeavours.
