The R57.68 billion preliminary trade balance surplus for June 2021 is attributable to exports of R166.52 billion and imports of R108.84 billion. Exports increased by R3.27 billion (2.0%) between May and June 2021 and imports decreased by R0.03 billion (0.0%) over the same period.

SARS would like to place on record its serious concern with what appears to be the ‘fighting’ of internal SARS matters through the media without following the proper processes that SARS has in place.
