- A taxpayer who doesn’t have access to or use internet or mobile banking may visit a bank branch. Payments to SARS can be made at the following banks: Absa, FNB, Nedbank, Standard Bank, Capitec and African Bank. The taxpayer can request that the bank to process an electronic transfer from their own bank account into the relevant SARS beneficiary bank account.
- If the taxpayer does not have a bank account, cash may be deposited into the SARS bank account. (Cash deposits to a SARS Customs and Excise bank account at any bank branch is no longer available as a payment option to SARS clients.)
- The correct 19-digit Payment reference number (PRN) must be provided to the bank. This PRN can be obtained from the SARS statement of account.
- The following SARS beneficiary bank accounts must be used for payment:
