The following are requirements for a certificate of residence:
:- The person must be registered for income tax purposes.
:- The application form must be submitted with all mandatory fields completed.
:- The person’s or partner’s tax affairs must be in order.
:- Additional information requested must be submitted.
:- The person must be a resident in terms of the definition of ‘residence’ in section 1 of the Act. .
:- The exempt organisation must be registered for annual income tax purposes,
:- The partner must be a South African resident in terms of the definition of ‘residence’ in section 1 of the Act.
