A clearing agent cannot represent foreign entities. To represent a foreign entity, you are required to be a Registered Agent.

FAQ: Will my Customs profile automatically be migrated to RLA or is there anything I need to do from my side?
SARS will not do any data take-on to the RLA system, traders are required to submit application via eFilling Customs Trader Portal or submit through branch office where they will capture on eFiling on behalf of the client.

For Customs registrations, we will process and finalise the application within 5 business days, where no inspection is required. Where an inspection is required, we will process and finalise the application within 21 business days.
