15 August 2016 – Woman bust with 100 Cuban Cigars worth R2-million

Pretoria, 15 August 2016 – SARS Customs officials intercepted a Venezuelan female trying to smuggle 100 cocaine cigar tubes, weighing almost 8kg and worth R2.0-million, at OR Tambo International Airport yesterday.
The female travelling from Brazil was stopped and searched.
She has been handed over to the South African Police Service for further investigations and prosecution and will appear in court by tomorrow.
