29 May 2016 – Woman busted for R2.1-million cocaine

Pretoria, 29 May 2016 – SARS Customs officials intercepted a woman from Sao Paolo carrying 7kg of cocaine valued at R2.1-million at OR Tambo International Airport yesterday.
The woman was stopped for routine check where her two bags and back pack were searched and scanned. Her back pack had a special compartment with white power that tested positive for cocaine.
The woman and the narcotics were handed over to SA Police Service for further investigation and prosecution.
