6 December 2024 – The SARS MobiApp has been enhanced to include the following additional tax services: “My Auto Assessment Status” and “Tax Return Status Dashboard”. These additional tax services are to resolve the following queries:
- My Auto Assessment Status – This service allows the taxpayer to know whether he/she has been selected for an auto assessment during filing season.
- Tax Return Status Dashboard – This service allows the taxpayer to view the progress of their submitted income tax return. Overall, this service provides the taxpayer with a visual status of the progress of their Personal Income Tax return in terms of submission, verification/audit and refund processing.
