SARS has introduced eDNA as a security measure in order to minimise the risk of fraudulent transactions as well as to safeguard taxpayer information. This entails that your fingerprints will be captured and authenticated when visiting a SARS branch for certain services.

See eDNA Identity Security for more information.

Port Shepstone is situated on the mouth of the largest river on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal, the Mzimkulu River. As the administrative, educational and commercial centre for southern Natal, the town borders KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape.  Staff at this branch are fluent in isiZulu, isiXhosa and Afrikaans. The branch experiences high walk-in volumes between 10h00 and 15h00 during peak periods, and taxpayers have access to free parking just outside the branch. The shopping centre across the road from the branch makes for convenient for both shops and public transport.
