Monthly Tax Digest – January 2025

Deadline around the corner for Provisional taxpayers and Trusts

The South African Revenue Service (SARS) would like to remind Trusts that they should submit their annual Income Tax Returns no later than 20 January 2025. Trustees are legally obliged to submit an account of the Trust’s financial activities, including accurate tax returns.

For information on filing Trusts’ tax returns, visit the SARS website and the Trusts webpage. Also watch the Trust Webinar on the SARS YouTube channel.

Trustees can submit their returns electronically through SARS eFiling (sarsefiling.co.za) or manually at the nearest SARS branch by appointment only. Be sure to bring all required documents and information.
