Tax rates are proposed by the Minister of Finance in the annual Budget Speech and fixed or passed by Parliament each year.
The Budget tax guide 2026 will be published on 25 February 2026 when the Minister of Finance delivers his budget speech – keep an eye on the Budget webpage.
In this section you can find a list of tax rates, commonly used by employer, for the past five years for:
- Tax Deduction Tables (weekly, fortnightly, monthly and annual)
- Medical Tax Credit Rates
- Rates per kilometer
- Subsistence Allowances and Advances (Local and Foreign)
Information is recorded from current tax year to oldest, e.g. 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, etc.
