Tax rates are proposed by the Minister of Finance in the annual Budget Speech and fixed or passed by Parliament each year.
In this section you can find a list of tax rates, commonly used by employer, for the past five years for:
- 29 February 2024 – There are changes in terms of the amounts of allowances i.e. rate per kilometre and subsistence allowances for both local and foreign – PAYE-GEN-01-G03 – Guide for Employers in respect of Allowances – External Guide.
- 21 February 2024 – No changes from last year for the Employer Guides:
- Tax Deduction Tables (weekly, fortnightly, monthly and annual)
- Medical Tax Credit Rates
- Rates per kilometer
- Subsistence Allowances and Advances (Local and Foreign)
Information is recorded from current tax year to oldest, e.g. 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015, etc.
